On Monday, November 17, we reached the end of the metaphorical yellow brick road that guided us towards “Wicked Week,” just a clock-tick before the cinematic debut of Wicked: For Good. New York’s Lincoln Center was transformed into an enchanting scene straight from Oz, adorned with cascading floral displays and a black carpet illuminated by pink and green lights. The dress code, “Emerald City Elegance,” was perfectly embodied by Jimmy Fallon, who dazzled in a striking green suit, a rare Cartier watch, and subtle hints of pink. Styled to perfection, he truly embraced his inner Ozian. Here’s a look at the details behind his NYC Wicked Premiere ensemble.
Fallon Looked Swankified in Green
Photos from the event didn’t fully capture the true color of Fallon’s suit. In several images it reads as navy, but in person it was a rich, deep green. After meticulous Fallon Beauty cross-referencing, the suit appears to be a tailored deep-green wool blend from Ted Baker. From the notch lapel to its three-button lined cuffs and satin green lining, it was thoughtfully designed. Almost as though the suit was tailor-made for the Emerald City.

Give Us a Clock-Tick to Admire Fallon’s Watch
The standout piece from Fallon’s Wicked premiere outfit that truly stole the spotlight: his watch, which he proudly displayed for photographers. The Cartier Santos-Dumont XL ‘Timepeace’ Edition — a limited 2024 release with only 25 pieces worldwide — features an 18k yellow gold case, a green sapphire cabochon crown crafted from natural malachite, and numerals lifted from alphabets from around the globe: Arabic, Hebrew, Mandarin, and Latin, symbolizing unity and peace. Fallon jokingly told photographers, “It’s very expensive, about $5,000!” Yet less than a year after its release, one sold at Phillips Auctions in June 2025 for an astounding $120,650 USD.
Pink Goes Well With Green: We’re Obsessulated with Fallon’s Tie
To continue with the Wicked themed ensemble Fallon wore a silk jacquard tie, in shades of pink and brown. Pairing it with a soft pink dress shirt. With the green Ted Baker suit, it created a palette that subtly echoed Glinda and Elphaba’s color stories without ever tipping into costume territory
With his deep green suit, soft pink accents, and a Cartier timepiece that tells a story of its own, Fallon delivered a Wicked premiere look that blended Emerald City elegance with timeless style. Thoughtful, expressive, and unmistakably Fallon, it proved that the strongest red carpet moments are built on quiet detail and confident charm.
